BTS dominated the Digital Song Sales chart in the United States with tracks featured on their new album Map of the Soul: 7 only a few weeks ago, but already one of the members of the most popular group on the globe is back with a new song titled”Sweet Night”, and this time, he is going it alone.
BTS member V will debut his new single titled ‘Sweet Night’ at No. 2 on Billboard’s ranking of the bestselling songs in the United States when it refreshes in a day or so. The track managed to sell over 11,000 copies in its first tracking frame, according to data shared by Nielsen Music.
‘Sweet Night’ was beaten only by The Weeknd’s ‘Blinding Lights’, which sold another 16,000 copies this past frame, bringing its total sales count to almost 177,000.
The song’s official music video posted a strong opening week number on youtube. ‘Sweet Night’ officially amassed 8.66 million views during the March 13-19 tracking period on youtube. The tally yields a #45 debut on the Global YouTube Music Videos Chart.
‘Sweet Night’ fared equally well in South Korea, earning number 2 on the Videos Chart and number 7 on the Songs Chart in the country.
