The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday said that 88 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the last 24 hr, the biggest in a single day. That brings the total number of positive cases to 694 in India.
The Union Health Ministry today said that the rate of increase in the positive cases was “relatively stable” in the country. The central government has allowed the doorstep delivery of essential items like medicines, drugs to people in view of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Earlier, Directorate General of Civil Aviation in a statement. said “The government said that the ban on international flight services to India has been extended till April 14 in light of the nationwide closedown amid the coronavirus pandemic. “It has been decided that scheduled international commercial passenger services will remain closed until 14th April 2020”.
Globally, the total count of positive coronavirus cases has reached over 4,99,000 including more than 22,246 deaths and till now has spread in more than 185 countries throughout the globe.
