A massive earthquake shook Delhi-NCR on Sunday evening. Tremors were felt all across the national capital region.
Initial reports suggest that an earthquake of magnitude of 3.5 on Richter scale hits Delhi at around 5.45 pm on Sunday evening.
The epicentre of the earthquake is reported to be the north-northeastern region of Delhi.
No loss of life and damage to property was reported immediately. People, mostly at homes, due to the coronavirus lockdown, took to social media and posted about the earthquake.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to twitter and wished for the safety of the citizen. “Tremors felt in Delhi. Hope everyone is safe. I pray for the safety of each one of you,” Arvind Kejriwal posted on twitter.
Just 3.5 on richter scale. However, it feels like more than 5.0
