Indian Air Force has cancelled the Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews that were to commence from March 23, 2020 for selection in various IAF group A posts due to COVID-19.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released a notice regarding the cancellation of the SSB interviews after getting the notice from health department of government of India.
The senior Indian Air Force sources had told the media that all the large assembly involving close contact are asked to be avoided and public gatherings are to be avoided at all costs as per the health department of Government of India. “The air force will review the situation by the end of March and then release the new dates for SSB interview 2020 Batches. So, all the candidates are hereby informed that keep visiting the official website for latest updates”, he said further to the media.
Earlier Indian Army also postponed the Services Selection Board (SSB) Batches that were to commence from March 20, 2020 in the wake of coronavirus. The Indian Army SSB batches were to commence for almost 90 courses including officers and jawans.
India has 223 positive case of coronavirus so far with total 5 deaths through the country.
COVID-19, declared as a pandemic by WHO, oubreak began from a sea food market in Wuhan China in December last year and has claimed more than 10,350 lives and infected more than 2,53,340 people since the outbreak began.
