Ministry of Human Resource and Development (HRD) has today confirmed that JEE Main 2020 exam will be rescheduled and new date will be announced after March 31 after re-assessment of the situation due to coronavirus outbreak.
The NTA JEE Main Exam 2020 April session was scheduled for 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11 April and the admit card for the same was about to release on 20th March 2020. However the exam has been pushed for a later date and the same will be informed after 31st March. It is not yet clarified if the admit card will be released or not on 20th March.
This decision was taken by the MHRD seeing the prevalent situation due to coronavirus in the country. “Joint Entrance Mains examination should be rescheduled and new date will be announced on March 31 after re-assessment of the situation since the examination may require travel by examinees to different towns & the dates may clash with rescheduled CBSE, other board exams”, stated by the Ministry of HRD.

Earlier Central Board of Secondary Education exams and All university exams were postponed and new date will be announced by Ministry of HRD after 31st March. However there was no clarification about the ongoing SSC CHSL exam which started on 17 March 2020 and will end on 28th March. More than 40 lacks students have filled the CHSL 2019 form.
The central government have shut down schools and colleges, shopping malls, parks, theatres and museums. The Rajasthan government has imposed Section 144 in the whole state. Different sports like Cricket or other games are cancelled or postponed amid a rapid increase in cases of COVID-19, which began from Wuhan China in decemeber last year.
