As the nationwide lockdown to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus continues, many people were seeing violating the guidelines issued by the government amid the virus outbreak.
Kerela Police today arrested 1258 people and more than 790 vehicles were seized for violating the guidelines. The total cases registered by Kerela Police has reached over 8,310 in the five days of nationwide lockdown.

Earlier Kerela Police deployed drones at various places to monitor the unlawful gathering of people and book those violating the lockdown guidelines.
Kerela Police took this route after finding that a large number of people were coming outside without any valid reason, despite repeated warnings and restrictions from the authority. It would help the Kerela police to get the latest updates regarding the violations and take quick action, official sources said.
Globally the total positive cases climbed to more than 6,22,000 including over 28,800 deaths. The situation has started to deteriorate in India. As of now, India has reported 933 positive cases including 20 deaths.
